The Challenge

Google Search Console recorded three impressions and zero clicks across the entire prior quarter. Acquisition ran almost entirely through paid: Display, Cross-network, and Paid Search accounted for effectively all site traffic, with organic contributing ten sessions total. That is an expensive and fragile position in one of the most competitive local verticals in Los Angeles, where cost per click on terms like "botox Glendale" and "laser hair removal near me" is bid up by chains, franchise med spas, and dermatology groups simultaneously. The clinic had real medical credibility, physician oversight, a genuine device stack, and a 4.9 rating across 10,000 clients, and none of it was visible in search. Every month the paid budget stopped, the pipeline stopped with it.

Our Approach

The Strategy

STEP 01

Technical foundation and indexation

Established crawlability, indexation, and site architecture from a near-zero baseline so the existing service content could be discovered at all.

STEP 02

Treatment-level page architecture

Built dedicated pages per treatment category rather than a single services page: injectables, laser hair removal, skin and body, body contouring, medical weight loss, and RF microneedling. Aesthetic search is treatment-specific, so the page structure had to match the query structure.

STEP 03

Glendale local intent capture

Structured the clinic entity, location, and hours consistently and built local-modified targeting so "Glendale" qualified searches resolved to the clinic rather than to LA-wide aggregators and directory listings.

STEP 04

Comparison and cost content

Published the content aesthetic buyers actually search before booking: Botox cost and duration in Glendale, Morpheus8 versus Ultherapy versus Thermage, honest laser hair removal cost and session counts, and microneedling candidacy signals.

STEP 05

Medical weight loss as a distinct search surface

GLP-1 demand behaves as its own keyword universe with its own intent, so the medically supervised weight loss programme was built out as a separate cluster rather than folded into the aesthetics menu.

STEP 06

Consultation as the conversion action

Every organic entry point routed to the free consultation booking rather than a generic contact form, matching the way the clinic actually converts.

Average position 22.4 means most of this is still on page two.

21,284 impressions sounds like arrival. It is not. An average position of 22.4 means the majority of that impression base is sitting on the second and third page of results, which is why 21,284 impressions produced 332 clicks at a 1.56% click-through rate. The foundation is built, the site is indexed, and it is ranking on a real keyword set for the first time. It is not yet ranking where the clicks are. The second thing worth stating plainly: total site sessions grew from 1,140 to 5,454 over the same window, and most of that growth is paid Display and Cross-network spend, not organic. Presenting the 5,454 figure as an SEO outcome would be false, so it does not appear on this page. The organic line stands on its own, and it is a foundation result rather than a finished one.
