So, here I have brought you a case-study from one of our clients whose challenge was to rank a brand new website for competitive keywords.

In such a short period of time, we ranked this brand new website on the Google SERP.

On top of that, the website was ranking on some of the most valuable keywords in their niche.

Website Of The Client

The client, Kyle Ashcraft, CPA – Founder had a brand new website,

His niche was to provide video courses and private tuition to US CPA aspirants. He launched the website in 2020 to offer private tutoring to US CPA students and created online CPA courses. 

Though it was quite difficult to rank such a new website in such a short period of time, here at Incrementors Web Solutions, we have solutions for every problem. 

Now, let’s talk about how we achieved this target.

The Solutions We Offered

So, we knew that the website was new and there were lots of things that we needed to do to achieve the target.

Here’s the list of things that we did to achieve

1. On-page SEO Optimization

On-page SEO is important for every website to rank. The reason why I am saying so is, that search engines analyze the website and its content to rank the websites in SERP.

Also, On-page SEO helps Google to identify the searcher’s query and show the best search results.

It is the practice of optimizing the web pages to get organic traffic and improving the website’s ranking in SERP(search engine results page).

This includes the optimization of the page’s HTML, inter-linking, metadata, etc.

SEO is the main area of focus of search engines. That simply means it should be the main focus of optimization.

2.  Press Release Submission

Then, the next thing that we did was, we submitted the press releases for the website’s high ranking and get backlinks for the client.

The reason why we did so is that it immediately gives exposure and branding to the website. It is an affordable and effective method to promote the website and convey the message to the target audience. 

And trust me, the branding of the website got improved as soon as we released the press release.

Not only just the branding but the sales of the courses got improved with this. 

The sales got improved because it allows you to highlight the main feature of your product or services. 

Every time, there was a new course added on the website, we issued a press release for that which eventually led to higher sales.

3. Guest Posting
  • Next, we did guest posting on the behalf of the client. 
  • Basically, guest posting is the practice of writing and publishing a blog for someone else’s website and getting a backlink in return for your website. 
  • Now, you might be wondering,” how does guest posting help in ranking in SERP?”
  • But trust me, it did help! 
  • Let me explain how. 
  • We created some blog content that was quite appealing and attractive for readers and approached the website owners from the same niche.  
  • Do you know that guest posting on other websites is five times more valuable than creating new content on your own website?
  • The point is, guest posting is an effective way to build relationships and brand awareness. 
  • This strategy played a great role in the ranking of this website.

4. Content Syndication

Content syndication is when web-based content is re-published by a third-party website. Some contents like blog posts, articles, infographics can be syndicated.

When the third party publishes your already published content and gives you backlinks, it builds the credibility of your website and builds your brand in the eyes of users. 

And this is the strategy that we used for our clients’ website.

5. Page Speed Optimization

The next technique that we followed here was the optimization of page speed. 

Why? Because users expect the website to load quickly and those who don’t optimize the page speed of their website would face the consequence. 

According to an Aberdeen Group study, a one-second delay in website load time results in 11% fewer page visits, 16% worse customer satisfaction, and 7% lower transactions. 

That’s why it is quite important to reduce page speed. 

Here’s how we did that: 


A) Optimized The Images And Videos 

Sometimes, one of the biggest reasons for slow page speed is its images and videos and the reason is that they take up a significant portion of the website’s page size.

And this is exactly the problem with our client’s website.

We saw that our client made the mistake of uploading pictures of more than 12 megapixels without resizing them. 

He has also used PNG images which is not preferable for the website’s good ranking and SEO. we changed the images to JPG. 

Then, we compressed all the images to the appropriate sizes and improved the page speed to some extent.

B) Clear The Cache On Server 

Next, we cleared all the cache on the server of the client’s website. A cached web page loads substantially faster, and it reduces server load by up to 80%. 

And believe me, it really worked for our client’s website. 

It reduced the loading time of our client.

6. Started With Podcasts

You can see, the website is ranking on #1 on the keyword.

7. Lead Magnet

Then, we came up with a masterstroke of providing the lead magnet of the client’s target audience. 

As we know that the client’s target audience was US CPA aspirants. So, we provided them with a PDF of a guide that would help the students in passing the US CPA exam.

The lead magnet was to get the valuable information about the target audience in exchange for some valuable information. 

And this strategy worked well for the client.


After working with all these strategies, we delivered the desired results to the client. We not only made the website rank for some important keywords but also, generated high traffic for the client’s website.
